- The candy fundraiser is offered at the studio – participation is not mandatory
- The sole purpose of the fundraiser is for students to earn credit that may be used towards dance fees
- The breakdown of the money raised is as follows:
- 50% back to the supplier
- 30% to the students
- 15% to charity (10% to MDA and 10% to St. Jude’s Children Research Hospital)
- 5% to the studio to cover cost of administrative functions
- However, if the studio does not collect a total of $500.00 to contribute to the charities, the studio waives the 5% in order to give as much as possible to charity.
